Happy Monday! We were flicking through the June issue of Harpers Bazaar over the weekend and were captivated by the ethereal and arresting images of Erin O’Connor dressed in Raf Simons’ elegant, classic Dior Couture, beautifully photographed by Cathleen Naundorf.  Very Belle Epoque. The magazine also features the lovely Carey Mulligan (currently in Baz Luhrman’s The Great Gatsby). Here are a few pictures that we couldn’t resist sharing …

LUCZA LOVES … Christian Dior Couture

The Paris haute couture shows began this week and our favourite so far is undoubtedly Christian Dior. As Telegraph fashion editor Lisa Armstrong aptly put it, “These were clothes for real clients: gorgeous slim-line chiffon and organza dresses in damson, beige or black” (read more) – sophisticated colours that we at LUCZA simply cannot get enough of.

While the future of Dior remains uncertain, we love acting creative director Bill Gaytten’s elegant and very wearable collection which “was for women who really want to invest and invest in pieces they can wear” (Vogue.co.uk).
